Jerry Roberts was born in Greenwood, SC. At the age of 7, he moved to Detroit, MI. where he began attending Liberty Temple Church under Pastor Hart, one of the country’s greatest pastors. He began to grow in the Lord by learning God’s word and playing guitar on the platform.  One highlight in his Liberty Temple days was when he became youth leader.  He truly enjoyed ministering to the youth, because so many of those young people went on to become ministers and have gone all over the world, preaching the love of Jesus.

Brother Roberts was married in 1971 to Marcia, who also grew up at Liberty Temple . Since Brother Roberts was ordained in 1973, he has preached revivals as an evangelist in many churches all across the country. With the gifts of the spirit operating in his life, he has seen countless and wonderful miracles in his ministry. As a guitarist, Bro. Jerry has traveled and played his guitar for different gospel groups.   Brother Roberts has taken courses from Word Bible College, and received a Dr. of Divinity from School of Bible Theology Seminary, and University from San Jacinto, Ca. and is now working on his second Doctorate, ” Doctor of Theology.”

Dr. Roberts along with his wife Marcia are now pastors of Liberty Worship Center, where God is moving and they are expecting great things from the Lord. He along with Marcia  are conducting a limited revival schedule also.

Marcia Roberts

Marcia was born in Gainesboro, Tenn. At the age of 2 they moved to Detroit and not long after with her family started attending a tent meeting where her dad was healed instantly of a serve case of ulcers. This tent meeting turned into the beginning of Liberty Temple Church.

As the church begin to grow so did Marcia’s experience with The Lord. As a young child she was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. Marcia was the youngest person chosen to be part of the main Choir. The church became not only a large church but a great revival center. She became one of the special singers at church. Marcia and Jerry grew up in the same church and were married in 1971 and begin to work in ministry together. God has used Marcia in many different area’s. Marcia and Jerry now minister along side each other as pastors  at Liberty Worship Center in Hodges, S.C. and continue to hold some revival meetings across the country. The best is yet to come.
